Through my work I am able to explore my interests in simple volumes and evolve complex three dimensional phenomena into new form and shapes. Part of this progress is the creation of installations or display cases which allow my jewelry to be exhibited within an interactive environment. Aongst my experiments with industrial materials such as plastics, machine parts and rubber, elements which are considered to be alien to jewelry design, I have the intention of creating aesthetically pleasing,controversial pieces. The basis of my conceptual approach to jewelry design is to provoke the observer to interact mentally as well as physically with each object and to challenge common place visual associations.
