Welcome to the Hotbox.
The Hotbox studio is a small studio, which was developed solely to finish the most recent of Richard Emanuel’s projects
“With The Gunsâ€
This is the outcome of a long evolutionary process since Richard met Alex Wiltshire (the lead singer in the guns) approximately 3 years ago in blossom studios where they were recording Alex’s previous band “When Reason Sleepsâ€.
Since then Richard and Alex have worked together on many projects in there self built “The Den Studios†in Pontypool.
But unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control had to leave at the end of last year.
At this time “With The Guns†was no way near completion, so they decided to build a temp studio in the far from perfect location “the underneath of a friends night clubâ€
But thankfully the results were great, and the album was completed.
Now the Hotbox will be temporally available to whoever would like to use it. Even tho it is small and not in a perfect location, the client list is starting to speak for itself.

This Studio is equipped with a Euphonix CS 3000 mixing console running along side a Protools HD2 accel with 3 digidesign 96 IOs.
Outboard include 24 Euphonix dynamic units (compression, filters, expansion, and gates)
Dynaudio Air 6 monitors, apple mac Pro (Intel) dual 2.5 Ghz with 2 gig memory. 3 Glyph 150g high speed audio drives. Running HD 3 plugins = autotune 5.
Mic list includes Neumann U87, Neumann tlm 103, Blue (mouse and dragonfly) plus loads more other mics Beta 58's Beta 91 sm58s + 57s, akg clip on drum mics inc d112, c1000s, pzms, octavia pencil condensers etc.
