About Me

I was born March 7th, 1983 and spent the first 18 years of my life in the tiny hamlet of Inverhuron, Ontario. Its beautiful forests, farms and Lake Huron shoreline is, and always will be, a firm part of who I am. At 18 I went of to Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario. After 3 years of school, I was ready to find a new place to explore. I guess I picked Oshawa at random. I wanted to be somewhere unfamiliar. I did not know anyone in Oshawa, or anything about the city at all. The first day I saw the city of Oshawa was the day I moved in. I have been here since June 2004. Around February 2006, I finally started to come across Oshawa's music scene. I fell hard and fast. Frequenting open stages at the Velvet Elvis on Monday nights ignited my inner fire. A night out in Orono's Red Room caused my shell to fall right off. I teamed up with Ben Wannamaker and we played our first and only show together on June 10, 2006. Soonafter a man named Glen Bensley took me under his wing and we've been a team ever since. We mainly play as a duo called 'The Hokum Runners' and I also joined his exsisting band, 'The Lap Dog Band' from 2006-2007. Glen has inspired so many, and I am no exception.
