RAY LAWRENCE JR.

Ray Lawrence Jr was found by a dumpster in a big town and taken in by a family of wild hillbillies and taught that Jesus loves country and western music and those who play this (real country music not that pop country crap that the FM radio folks are trying to shove down our throats) are blessed by God. Ray learned to play a guitar at an early age and got a GRETSCH and all hell broke loose when that happened and he got to playin with SUICIDE DRIVER. This is a band of musicians that is playin a mix of rockabilly, truckin music, outlaw country and what we like to call mandantory MERLE sets. We play a lot of music from our heroes like Hank III, Wayne the train Hancock and our good friends Flathead. This is the type of music Ray is doin these days as well as a whole bunch of original songs some are Rays and the others are brother Tiny’s of SUICIDE DRIVER. SUICIDE DRIVER likes to partner up with the local bands like I-10 west, 13 to the Gallows and Flathead on occasion and it gives Ray Lawrence Jr a chance to play music with some of the finest musicians in this valley that share the love of our kind of music. Ray has an addiction to Gretsch guitars and will only play a Gretsch on stage these days.
