Born in Bonn, Germany, 1984, Andre has been obsessed with music since an early age. By the time he was 12, he was experimenting on his first mixer and a Denon, mainly mixing hip-hop & rap while living in the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean.At the age of 15 he was introduced to electronic music through attending and assisting in the organisation of many underground parties in the Dominican Republic (Caribbean). Needless to say, he was immediately hooked on the sound and vibe of these events. Andre became close friends with a local DJ and producer Ludwig aka Froggy, who mentored him along the path to understanding and mixing electronic music.At 17 he was spinning techno and tech-house on his first Technics 1200 mk2..s and had begun to define his own sound, taking influence from the music of Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, and Luciano among others. At this time he was playing in local clubs and bars on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, mainly in Cabarete, known for its role in the electronica scene .At 18, he moved back to Bonn to develop his individual sound and improve his DJing career. Having joined Unityrecords, a DJ agency in Bonn, and with a few demos landed in the right people..s hands he was soon being called on to play at various clubs in Bonn and Cologne.Carving out his sound to be a smooth blend of Minimal techno, he is now not only in demand in Germany but has also been seen in Belgium, Holland,England and Spain, and maintains regular visits to the Dominican Republic. Currently living in Barcelona where he studied Electronic Music Production and made his own label called 4Line Records, Andre is absorbing the sounds and atmosphere of the city and readying himself for maximum output.
