VINYL DID IT is a new label based in Barcelona. it collaborates with different international artists; new and established; to create electronic music that reflects where the genre is going taking elements from classic techno and house, and pushing the music into the future. The main characteristic of VDI's releases is originality. All of VDI's music reflects the artists' particular view and taste in electronic music, whether it be techno or something a bit housier, always dancefloor oriented, the music stays away from overused formulas. The label combines in-house talent like Dr. Needles, Julien H Mulder, Andre Buljat and label founders Digital Ape and Dia with guest remixers that share our vision of music, to create an interesting combination of sounds, experience and talent. The label had great success in less than a year of existence as a digital only label, and now has made the natural step into vinyl. Future vinyl releases will come in limited edition pressings.
