DIGITAL APE

Digital Ape is an American Dj/Producer, co-founder of the labels Uvdog records in San Francisco, and Vinyl Did It in Barcelona, as well as the digital label Sur People with label partner DIA. They also recently set up Index Barcelona, a label management company that takes care of a select number of labels as well as the booking for some of its artists, and also acts as their exclusive distributor. Having grown up in the Midwest and later lived for over 10 years in San Francisco, his sound is deep, and housie, yet strong and driving with the power of techno, with groovy and percussive elements that show a strong influence of his latin roots.
