My Interests

Showbiz and all aspects of it. Singing, dancing, magic, hypnosis, gameshows, sparkly clothes.
we have no interest in political ranting, Bill Hicks, student lifestyles and amusing stories in the Guardian. We do love the comedy tradition of slapping little old men on the head and chasing scantily clad women around a park.

I'd like to meet:

Any people who love us of course. Showbiz types, people with an outlandish dress sense, bingo callers, lovers of proper entertainment. But not people who cannot act for toffee!

Music:

Music was our first love... well, it wasn't really, it was the Generation Game but we love many kinds of music especially our own songs including our controversial ska tribute to Winston Churchill, our condemnation of lower-class lifestyles "The People on THAT Estate", our touching geriatric love-ballad "Sheila" and our coprophiliac art spectacular "Gilbert & George".

Movies:

Carry On films, Up Pompeii, the 'Doctor' films, the 'Confessions' films, On The Buses trilogy, School For Scoundrels, Champagne Charlie, Laurel & Hardy, St. Trinians.

Television:

The Generation Game, The Benny Hill Show, Stanley Baxter, Dick Emery, Kenny Everett, George & Mildred, Hi-De-Hi, The Comedians.

Heroes:

Benny Hill, Charles Hawtrey, The Sweet, Stanley Baxter, Kenneth Williams, Sammy Davis Jnr, Sid James, Jacki Wright, Gary Glitter, Bob Todd, Hylda Baker, Bella Emberg, Terry-Thomas, Joan Sims, Cannon & Ball, Jeremy Lloyd
