DeeJay Rock (nobody knows his real name) is the son of a Brasilian VIP-stewardess and a rich oil diplomate. His mother worked on a private jet, traveling around the world (it must have been a mile high moment).
It’s when they lived in Monaco that DeeJay Rock started to get interested in music. His mother had a short relationship with a casino-manager, so DeeJay Rock hung around the nightclub all the time.
One night there was a big party in the nightclub, filled with celebs ... but the crowd was not pleased with the resident dj at all. Out of the blue Silvester Stallone (yes, the Rocky dude) came from behind his table and smashed the dj’s face into oblivion. Lights punched out, the dj crashed to the floor, KO!
The manager of the club was in a state of shock ... no dj = no music ... no music = no happy people. He rushed to DeeJay Rock and said: "You’re watching every night the idiot-dj who’s licking the floor now, you play ... please !" After 5 minutes of spinning some records the crowd started to move more and more ... and suddenly, again out of nothing, he was face to face with Silvester Stallone. He pointed his finger to him, lip trembling and said: Yo DeeJay, you Rock !"
Hence the name: "DEEJAY ROCK"!
Ever since DeeJay Rock has been playing at all the biggest celeb parties. With a small fortune as a result and his home base being Puerto Banus, Marbella.
