My Interests

Fantasy costumes and masks. Differant painting, paper mache, and sculpting techniques...in a word: ART!

I'd like to meet:

I'm interested in meeting and networking with other artists, preferrably other mask makers, puppeteers, sculpters, painters, etc. Serious artists, not crafters!I'm also interested in meeting and networking with vendors who participate in art shows, Renaissance/Fantasy Festivals, Masquerade Ball events (Pagan, Fantasy, commercial, personal, etc.), costumed productions and events, etc.And of course, CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Movies:

"Labyrinthe"... anything fantasy costume/mask intensive with a good story and good acting.

Books:

"The Prop Builder's Mask-Making Handbook" by Thurston James, "The Prop Builder's Molding & Casting Handbook" by Thurston James, "Modelling the Head in Clay" by Bruno Lucchesi, Margit Malmstrom, "The Portrait in Clay" by Peter Rubino

Heroes:

Brian and Wendy Froud, Jim Henson and son
