About Me

GunJah Records is a small independent label releasing reggae, dub and ambient music since 1997. Back in the days the label was founded to promote the music created by Syncro. Almost immediately after the first EP GJ started to release the annual ambient/experimental compilation One Step Behind The Sound which made total of four volumes containing the finest Czech and Slovakian ambient and experimental projects. In the last years GJ releases strictly reggae and dub tunes on 7" singles featuring Lutan Fyah, Juakali, Brother Coms, King Kalabash and Baron Black on the microphone.
