Art is all about finding the beauty in “existence”. Some try hard to envision a creation, and others see potential in what already exists. This view is held by Joshua Chambers, a 25-year-old abstract expressionist who resides in Atlanta. What began as a hobby is quickly turning into a passion for this young man. He often creates spontaneously, based on what he’s feeling at the moment, thus eliminating the pressure to meet a particular standard. His unique style of creating often involves materials such as wood, tile, stains and even polyurethane. This mixed media artist loves to express himself through art. He states, “it’s a good release that has the potential of bringing joy to others. Art is life, and it’s all around us.”Not too long ago, Joshua graduated from Bauder College where he majored in Fashion Design. While sketching, designing and creating clothing, he realized that it was all an expression of art. This grew into a desire to explore various forms of art. He hadn’t planned on the turn in this direction, but he’s willing to follow his heart to see what becomes of it.
