Horacio Blackwood is the founder and CEO of Blackwood Entertainment, Blackwood Talent Management, Blackwood Music and Blackwood Productions, companies based in Los Angeles and New York City.

Blackwood Talent Management is a full service personal management company representing talents in the areas of music, radio, television and film, with a highly selected group of clients, which includes actors, models, dancers/choreographers, singers, songwriters/producers, screen writers, and directors.

Horacio honed his knowledge, experience and skills while working under the tutelage of his mentor, noted talent manager and the founder of Dick Scott Group, CEO and owner the late Richard Scott (New Kids On The Block, Boyz II Men, Patti Austin, James Ingram and Mark Walberg to name a few).In 1995, Horacio joined the elite staff of the Dick Scott Group, which includes former employers like Johnny Wright (Manager of Nsync, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson), Miguel Melendez of Overbrook Entertainment (Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Robin Thicke, Deborah Cox) among others. After several years of working with Richard Scott, this innovative, young, and vibrant creative mastermind created his own New York based management and production company, representing a select group of models, dancers, choreographers, singers and music producers.Horacio Blackwood gained industry attention after signing his first recording artist client with A&M/Universal Records establishing Blackwood Entertainment as a high profile company in the entertainment industry scene. Pursuing his passion for this business Horacio Blackwood relocated his company to Los Angeles, California entering the world of Hollywood and ventured into the TV and Film industry signing a client with the very prestigious Creative Artists Agency, he continued his pursuit and passion for talent management by adding to his talent roster some very talented actors, writers and directors listed with some of the biggest agencies in the business.In 2001, Horacio Blackwood joined the Talent Managers Association (TMA) an organization that helps to maintain the highest level of credibility for the profession of personal talent management. Horacio is a very active member of the organization and also serves as one of the eleven members on the board of directors. Other association includes National Association of Artist Managers (NAAM).Today Horacio Blackwood continues to hone and use his mastery of creating effective marketing strategies consulting several production companies in such the case as Nu-Lite Entertainment, with the development and release of the 20th Century Fox feature film title “Color Of The Cross” in which he served as a consultant and Producer.Horacio continues to tap into the needs of his clients and is well positioned to guide careers, develop projects, and hone success on becoming one of the “A list” in the entertainment industry.
