Ellenie Galestian began her dance career at the age of three under the direction of Helen Zohrabians. She studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Cultural dancing, as well as Gymnastics & Acrobatics. Ellenie has competed in Championships in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, & New York City. She has performed & choreographed at theme parks in California such as Six Flags Magic Mountain & Universal Studios. Ellenie received a dance scholarship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas & traveled to New York City with the "Sweethearts" International Touring Company. She performed in the production of Trains, Boats, & Planes & on ABC's morning news show, "Good Morning America."
Recent Accomplishments include Ellenie's dancing & singing in the tour for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." In 2007, She danced on SITV's hit show, "The Drop" with guest artists Paula Deanda, Mike Jones, & Down aka Kilo in Los Angeles, CA. She was also in Jessica Simpson's Fan's music video for "A Public Affair," on yahoomusic.com. Ellenie made top finals in LA during (Season 2) "Search for the next doll" TV show. She joined "The Pulse" in NYC for the "2007 Summer Dance Fest."
Ellenie signed with Dorothy Day Otis Talent Agency (DDO) in NYC. She performed at "Ciprianis" for Sarah Ferguson, the "Duchess of York," (The Sarah Ferguson Foundation) for artists such as Aretha Franklin & Natasha Bedingfield.Ellenie performed for the DIRECTV-NASDAQ parade on Times Square from ESPN at the Nasdaq Exchange ceremony. On New Year's Eve, she performed for NASCAR champion driver, Brian Vicker's celebration. She also performed for the 2008 NFL draft party @ NYC's Touch Nightclub for ESPN Magazine. She recently performed for the the Elite XC fighting alliance (MMA Event) @ the Prudential Center in NJ.
*ACTING*
Ellenie has been featured in music videos & commercials. She was in the Paris Hilton Accessory line promo for "Toyquest," on VH1 TV. She recently played the flirty girlfriend in the feature dance film, "B-Girl & an angel-ballerina role in the film, "The Minor Fifth." " Ellenie was on MTV in the music video for "Check Yes Juliet" by the band "We the Kings," playing the role of Juliet's best friend & Hunter Thompsen's (guitar/vocalist) love interest.

*EDUCATION/TEACHING*
Ellenie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts & Dance from California State University, Los Angeles. She also attended University of California, Berkeley, in the Berkeley Dance Exchange program.
Alongside her Father, Edwin Galestian's music school in Glendale, CA, Ellenie teaches & directs recitals for "Five Star Music & Dance." Ellenie has taught Armenian Dance at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She continues dance education workshops in the LA Unified School District. Ellenie teaches workshops in Los Angeles, CA throughout her travels.
*A GOOD CAUSE*...
Ellenie & her students contributed to "Project Backpack's"- "Help is on the way" an NYC charity assisting children with HIV/AIDS for children in Washington Heights.
