Five Star Music & Dance (FSMD) is an independently owned & operated Musical Instrument Store as well as a School for Music & Dance.
ABOUT US
FSMD has been dedicated to placing students & teachers together in a musically enriched environment. FSMD is located right in the heart of Glendale, California. FSMD has 6 different classrooms/studios which include a Music Recording Studio as well as a Dance Studio used by both our music & dance students. FSMD has developed from its roots as a piano store, only teaching piano lessons, as it evolved into a full service music retail outlet & educational facility. FSMD now provides lessons in various instruments such as the Piano/Keyboard, Guitar,/Bass, Violin, Flute/Recorder, Percussion, Saxophone, Drums, Duduk/Shvi/Zurna, (Armenian/Ethnic Instruments) Vocal/Singing Lessons, Various Dance Classes, as well as Art/Painting Lessons. FSMD is honored to have over 25 qualified & experienced Instructors teaching students of all ages. The growth has been primarily achieved through positive word of mouth & referrals from our happy students, parents, teachers, & all our customers.

At FSMD, we are dedicated to the enrichment of life in our community through the study and the appreciation of music & dance. Our unmatchable services have been designed to simplify the search for qualified & available teachers in the area. FSMD provides the most effective environment in which students prepare artistically & intellectually, to achieve success in traditional, contemporary, musical, & dancing fields. FSMD continues to meet all types of musical needs from traditional instruction to the latest in the use of electronic & computer equipment.
MUSIC & DANCE LESSONS
FSMD has created & developed a one-of-a-kind program designed to identify each students specific goals & desires for music & dance lessons. Come on in and we will take care of you!
EDUCATION
Local public school districts, as well as private high schools, have faced tremendous financial challenges throughout the past ten years. As a result, Music & Dance programs in these schools do not adequately prepare most students for the study of music. Therefore, FSMD’s Music & Dance department is designed to address the needs of all students. For this reason, our mission, goals, & objectives are strongly addressed.

Five Star Music & Dance holds its annual recitals @ Star Dancer’s Horizon, only one block away from our own store/studios. Our recitals definitely serve as great motivation as well as an opportunity to demonstrate each student’s progress. Friends & family all are WELCOME!

Welcome! It is a great pleasure to extend warm greetings to all who have gathered for the Five Star School of Music & Dance Recital. Each year we get to continue and improve just as your talent has grown. Congratulations to all participants for your accomplishments and achievements. Your dedication and hard work have prepared you for this spectacular event for all to enjoy. Congratulations to you!
My thanks also go to you extremely hard working teachers who spend your lives creating and teaching so that others perform well and attain their goals. This is your day to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of your labors. Congratulations to you!
