Blackwood Company is now under new management and has joined with 3R Entertainment. Rebekah Behar is the new manager of the Blackwood Company conglomerate, based in Los Angeles and New York City.
3R Entertainment and Blackwood Music is an artist development and music production company specializing in helping aspiring singers develop their natural abilities into a complete package highly marketable and competitive in the music business utilizing a highly selected group of music producers, songwriters and other professionals necessary to promote your career. 3R Entertainment and Blackwood Music places their clients with record labels and agents and distribution. Blackwood Music manages the singer’s project from beginning to end helping to avoid common mistakes and misconceptions giving you an edge over your competition.
Rebekah honed her knowledge, experience and skills while working under the tutelage of her mentor, a noted talent manager who started and managed the careers of (New Kids On The Block, Boyz II Men, Patti Austin, James Ingram and Mark Walberg to name a few).
In 1995, Rebekah joined the elite staff of her mentor, which includes former employers like Johnny Wright (Manager of Nsync, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson), Miguel Melendez of Overbrook Entertainment (Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Robin Thicke, Deborah Cox) among others.
After several years of working with her mentor, this innovative, young, and vibrant creative mastermind created her own New York based management and production company, representing a select group of models, dancers, choreographers, singers and music producers.
After having supplied and producing full service productions, choreography, artist development, stage directing, and video concepts for some of the top entertainers (Janet, Aaliyah, Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, C&C Music Factory, Salt-n-Peppa), Horacio’s endless jobs and client list included some Off Broadway musicals, many major record labels (Universal, MCA, Interscope, Warner Bros., Capitol, Columbia, Bad Boy and many others), along with some commercial, film, and TV companies.
Rebekah gained industry attention after signing her first recording artist client with A&M/Universal Records establishing Blackwood Company as a high profile company on the entertainment industry scene. Pursuing her passion for this business Rebekah Behar relocated her company to Los Angeles, California entering the world of Hollywood and ventured into the TV and Film industry signing clients with the very prestigious Creative Artists Agency and William Morris Agency. She continues her pursuit and passion for talent management by adding to her talent roster some very talented actors, writers and directors listed with some of the biggest agencies in the business.
