The Birds

About Me

The Birds have been making their mark on the Manchester music scene extensively for quite some time with regular appearances at numerous venues across the city. They have been playing together for over a year, often alongside such acts as Apartment 24, and in this time, have managed to establish a loyal fan base including the infamous Stalker Rick, and have received much critical acclaim from the likes of NME and Island Records.
Collectively the birds own 76 vintage dresses, 178 pairs of tights and 54 pairs of vintage shoes.
The Birds are often faced with the same question; why is the line up always changing?
Well, quite simply, it's not. The Birds often play without all members present; while not all birds are there in person, they are always there in spirit.
Their most popular hits include, "Cheesecake," "Stone Fucking Roses" and the punkier, edgier, "Fuck Off And Die."
