Downbreed was formed in 1994 when four guys(Jef Conn-vocals, Samuel Honeycutt- bass, vocals, Mark Vela-guitar, Gary Wayne-skins) decided that music had sucked for too long, and so they started writing some of the most hard core, true to rock, intense music to date (at that time). Downbreed was determined to wake the rock world up from the grave once again by kicking everyone's asses into high gear. Based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Downbreed was surely a force to be reckoned with. Their original, aggressive sounds were more than enough to pick anybody up, and then chew them up and spit them put satisfied. They were determined to always stay true to the aggressive movement and will continue to piss off the posers. Power To The Core. Like moths to the flame they will come.

Downbreed continued to blast the local scene up despite minor setbacks and distrubances until Sept 12, 2003 when bassist, S. Brian Honeycutt was killed in a tragic car accident. Thanks to the help and support of many local businesses and bands, two large benefits were held to donate the proceeds to the two children he left behind. Brian lives on in many hearts and so does the music. Here's to the fans that never forget....
