Born in October 1987 in Halifax, England B.E.N. has been a part of this industry since the age of 13. Beginning his career specifically as a DJ and now successfully establishing himself as a music producer / remixer, owner of 2 record labels.
On the DJ front the style of B.E.N. ranges from Deep Electro influenced warm up sets right through to peak time driving euphoric Trance that’s finished off with lashing’s of tough tech & psychedelic material. B.E.N. has had the honour of playing a fantastic gig list alongside many of the planets best, which includes the likes of Marco V, Marcel Woods, Rank 1, Gareth Emery, DJ Remy, Menno De Jong & many more. B.E.N. has had the privilege to take his sound to many an international crowd, whether it be in countries such as Indonesia or Sweden, Canada to Romania, B.E.N. has played on a global scale to stand alongside the rest. B.E.N. is also the resident DJ for John 00 Fleming’s JOOF Recordings (label tours etc.), yet another strong achievement under his belt where the opportunity for most would be so hard to come by.
The DJ side has always been the primary passion for B.E.N. He has successfully ran the Total .T.R.A.N.C.E. radio show series for a number of years on the highly rated ETN.fm which has featured world renowned guest mixes from fellow DJ’s such as Marco V, Marcel Woods & Jon O’Bir. B.E.N. held his first residency for his own Total T.R.A.N.C.E. club nights at the age of just 14 and played a successive amount of both 5 & 6 hour sets on a monthly basis to great appreciative crowds. B.E.N. certainly knows which tracks to drop at just the right moments to get a crowd moving and with constant fresh and innovative material whether it be from B.E.N. or other producers, you can be guaranteed that each new set will be as memorable as the last.
In the studio B.E.N.’s productions have been hitting record stores worldwide since 2005 thanks to signings to top record labels such as Armada, Coldharbour, JOOF, Banshee Worx, Fektive & Captivate, as well as on B.E.N.’s Total Digital & Mainframe imprints. His tracks have grown to be loved by some of the worlds biggest most established DJ’s, of which include the likes of Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz & John 00 Fleming to name a few.24th June 2008
