My main interest is DJing and I was first inspired at an outdoor birthday BBQ party in late 1998 when a family friend was DJing on two turntables and a small mixer in the garage. I was so fascinated at how he was seamlessly blending each track into each other and I remember thinking I've got to get in on this. In all fairness, he let me have a go and even though my mixing left a lot to be desired (it was my 1st ever go!) it was awesome being able to control the music in this way. However shortly after the police arrived after a tip off from the neighbours about the racket! To this day I still don't know whether it was due to the volume of the music or my DJing, I think the cops were just stunned to see that it was a 13 year old lad at the heart of it lol! From then it took me 4-5 months to save up for my first set of decks using my paper round money in 1999. Been buying music ever since on both vinyl & CD formats, so much now there is limited space in my room so something's gotta give! (probably the foundations of the house with the weight of all my records! Just as well I play mostly CDs now) I love to play house, techno & trance mainly & I also like to create my own mash ups & bootlegs to give my sets a twist which is unique to me. My bootleg productions under the name MW have been supported by Judge Jules both on his Radio 1 and Global Warm Up shows throughout 2008. They have featured in many of his club sets both in the UK & abroad and have also been supported by many other DJs across the UK. My next aim is to get into making my own tracks from scratch (watch this space!) I also enjoy travelling & seeing new places & things and I've had a few holidays including 2 to Australia, 4 to Ibiza, & others in Spain & Portugal (Love my holidays!)
