About Me

Mathilde. 22. Music lover (all kinds). Hopefully future singer. Would-be guitar player. Frenchie come to london to live a whole new life and whole new experiences, and well... for now? I had a HELL OF A TIME! :) Musically, since I arrived in London, I: ... Have done a couple of gospel concerts when joinning British Gospel Arts workshops (one in a small choir group, the other as a gospel soloist) and it's been some of the most amazing experiences I've ever had as a singer. Widened my horizons as a musician, discovering new bands all the time, new sounds, and mostly new skills, such as song writting, which I never thought I could do. For now, I'm working on some lyrics, and am in touch with several very good musicians to write the music, all in their different style, and I can't wait to record all our demos... Hope you'll enjoy the few tunes here! xxx. Mattie

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: myspace.com/magicmathilde
Band Members: Me, Myself, I! I'm currently in contact with other musicians, very talented, and we're working on some tunes of our own, and I hope we'll be able to record very soon some kind of demo album! Among them: Gio.Vani, B. da Wanka and Man.U. Love you guys!
Influences: Generaly, I'd say my first influences is life. From the every day shit that you go through, to those very happy moments that don't happen much in a life time.
Then of course, people. Family, friends, a chap on the bus, some girl in the tube, etc... anybody can be inspiring, it depends I think on how yourself is seeing them.
Musically, my eclectic temper helps me having loads of different influences, but my all time inspirations are Muse, Telepopmusic, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, J.S. Bach, Ella Fitzgerald, Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie, Frank Sinatra, Danny Elfman, Sigur Ros and John Williams.
Sounds Like: Crap, most of the time lol
