Jamie Lee Wilson is a vocalist/songwriter/top line writer who moved to London 2 years ago from Melbourne, Australia.
Jamie’s single ’I Just Wanna Dance’ is to be released on the 1st of May with UK label Kinky Malinki remixes by Hooks N Kay, H & H Soul Survivors, Adam Nyquist & Chevy One and Housekeeping will be available for purchase. ’Bring It Down’, is also due for release on the coming months with Canadian label Morissons. Upcoming performance highlights include; performing in St Petersberg and Moscow; singing at the ledgendary GET LOADED IN THE PARK 08 with Roastgroove and DJ Steve Rothery; performing a live PA with TIMMY VEGAS of SOUL CENTRAL fame and JONATHAN ULYSSES at Turnmills; and gigs in Marbella and Dubai for Kinky Malinki.
She performs in London and Europe’s top clubs and dance festivals with select dj’s and is currently writing and recording her own music. Recent performance highlights include:
Supporting JUNIOR JACK and KID CREME New Years Eve on the main stage for PUSH and GET LOADED at Koko; supporting the legendary CARL COX at Carling Brixton Academy;doing a live PA with JONATHAN ULYSSES and JASON HERD at Turnmills; playing alongside ARMAND VAN HELDEN, GRANDADBOB, CASSIUS, LAYLO & BUSHWACKER, CAGED BABY, STANTON WARRIORS and PLUMP DJ’s at ELECTRIC GARDENS FESTIVAL; Playing in St Petersburg and Moscow- Russia with ROASTGROOVE; alongside the LOOSE CANNONS for a live broadcast on KISS FM at Cargo; WALLY LOPEZ and the HOXTON WHORES at Hidden; the SHAPESHIFTERS for PUSH at The Whitehouse, free-styling in the main room at Pacha with GRANT RICHARDS for Kinky Malinki, regular gigs supporting the FREEMASONS with DJ RICHIE HODGES; supporting STONEBRIDGE for Plush Dafunk at Pacha London; Dreamers in Marbella with GRANT RICHARDS for Kinky Malinki; playing at the Woodford Folk Festival alongside THE JOHN BUTLER TRIO and singing alongside the fabulous KATIE NOONAN in Australia
