Platinum Mind Productions is a London-based collective of creative individuals in the field of music, film, graphic/web design and dance. Formed in 2002, it is the brainchild of Derek Owusu, and currently has Earl Williamson and Sarah Butler as its main talents, representing photography/film-making and graphic/web design respectively.
Main projects for the next year include the recording and release of Dereks debut album, to coincide with a DVD documentary, work for Out Of Order TV and various websites to be built. 2008 holds BIGGER and better things for the guys at Platinum Mind. Individually we are all doing things but collectively we hope to help you guys out too. Keep an eye out for blogs, bulletins and updates with the latest news!
Keep an eye out for Derek's Friday message which generally contains people we think you should take a look at, and is always good for a giggle. Also we will generally post a blog about new people we are looking at working with, just to keep you up to date. Take a look at them, we want to work with them for a reason!
Sarah's always making stuff and changing this slide show so keep an eye on here and the photos section on her personal profile for the newest updates. In the photo folder the new stuff is at the top so it's easier for you lot to see, kind eh?! Ok, so many of you will know about Derek's recent trip to Birmingham with the guys from London Calling for the Retail Unsigned gig. We decided to stick a few videos up here for your viewing pleasure, and so you can see what we have been up to with the first bit of 2008. There's also loads of Sarah's photos from the rehearsals and some from the gig in the photos section. ENJOY!
