I have been a bass player since the age of 8. I have been pro since the age of 16 i come from a musical background as both my father and brother are both pro bass players i have been very lucky as i was able to gain a insight into the industry at a early age i have played many sessions and played for many song writers also done the norm of summer seasons and cruises i found these gigs good at a young age as you play 6 nights a week for 8 months at a time.i have also been playing in the usa in LA and ibiza with some bands again this was good as you get to play varied music. i use musicman stingray 5 basses and a GB spitfire 4 string built by bernie goodfellow of GB guitars .and ebs /eden bass amps and ebs pedals.im touring at the moment playing all the major theaters in the uk with a major theatres touring band.. i am very experianced and very reliable play many styles but play what is required for the gig im on at the time .i would like to meet anyone who needs a bass player for some sessions or production companys for new bands /tv work/tours dep work with bands etc. thanks for taking the time to view my profile. please send a message if you would like any futher information call ian 07830393263 also .. go to www.myspace.com/iandobbinsbass a
