Silk starts his musical career in 1991 as the singer and producer of the band "Berre del buyete" with who he release two tapes."Estamos joios" and "Luh peleginuh......" After some years the band split up and Silk continues with another band; "Gravementegrave" with other Mc´s. They make one record named "Nom Stop".
Some years later he starts the record and production company, "Soham music" producing a lot of hip-hop and electronical music. Cd´s like "Bosk" "Mente grave", "Mc Lee" "Vais a comer..." , songs in the cd of "Picolo", also beeing the sound tecnician on these recordings. Producing the recopilation cd "Laboratorio Hiphop 2" by Universal records.
Now is a member of the Band "DHIRA".
ABOUT DHIRA Dhira began in the fall of 2003 whenTirtha,Michi and Silk started to record in the small So-Ham Producions studio in Madrid,and soon they had 13 songs ready wich reflects a mix of styles, languages and cultures.With these songs starts the adventure of their first album called "Dhira style" with colaborations by musicians like Amparo from Amparanoia, Muñeco from Amparanoia, "Vesco" from Amparanoia," Laksmana" from Undrop and "Txino" from Berre del Buyete and KDB.
Seeing the results they decide to turn the project into something different than just "a band". Something that reflects their own artistic and philosofical search.
Inspired by old Hindu philosofy and turning away from modern politics wich has little to do with artistic creation, the dhira project is born.Trying not to be stuck in only the musical and estetical part they hope to embrace a wider perspective of colaborations and suggestions with anyone .Common sense that leads to a more positive outlook of things.
Dhira now is the number one in the rattings radios of USA.
