About Me

ToolsForMySpace.com
The musical history of Dystronic began with electronic music (new wave), metal and punk. In the whole 80s he moved in the punk- and crustcore-scene. At that time he played drums in two punk-bands and wrote articles for a punk-fanzine. From 1988 on, he extended his musical preferences with grindcore, death metal and doom. From 1994-1995 he played drums in a grindcore-band. Since he never concentrated his musical preferences to only one style, he re-discovered electronic music in 1995 (especially electro, but also dark-ambient, acid and drum&bass). From the begining involved in the Kommando 6 party-series, he decided in 2001 to start producing his own electro(nic) tracks as Dystronic and released this preferably on the Kommando 6 label. Besides his solo-project, Dystronic is involved in a further project, called Black Spider Clan (with Beta Evers). In 2004 he founded the local network Simulacron, where he produced and released i.e. a video-DVD called "Dark Shots". Not so long ago he completed the Dystronic EP-triology on Kommando 6. At the moment Dystronic works on new tracks and plans more activities at Simulacron.
