Rock and Metal is for life, not just for Christmas

About Me

OK, a 28 year old guitar slinging, vocal screaming rock 'n' roll freak!!!! Music is my life and has been since I can remember. My father was a professional touring musician for something like 30 years, so music is basically born into my blood. I enjoy nothing more than getting up on stage and playing songs that I have either written or had a hand in writing, and watching the crowd, hopefully, enjoy it as much as I do. Have had the fortunate opportunity to do a two week mini tour of New Jersey and New York with my band, which was probably the greatest two weeks of my life so far. Chilling out with a beer or a bottle of wine in front of the TV after a hard days work (I'm a plumber) is something that I enjoy. Look like a typical rock type bloke, long hair, goatee beard etc. Hopefully going to get my Bike license next year, pending finances of course, not cheap you know! Other than that, I'm straight up and tell it the way I see it, don't see the point in beating around the bush, and I prefer it when people are the same way with me!:-))))))) By the way, check out my band's:
5th man down at either 5th man down.co.uk or 5th man down's MySpace page .
And my new band Struckdown at our Myspace page . We shall be recording soon, and it's gonna Rock:-)
And last , but most certainly not least is Godsized. Check out our Myspace page . The track up there is an old one of the old line up but new stuff will be up soon and it's going to be very metal!!!!!!!!!!
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

My Interests

This guy is just disturbingly good! .. width="425" height="350" ..And this is just cool!!!! .. width="425" height="350" ..

I'd like to meet:

Ok, let's see now. People who are alive would be people like, Zakk Wylde, Mark Tremonti (ok, I can scratch him off the list, met him after the last Alter Bridge gig in London, jolly descent chap too!), Myles Kennedy, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Vedder, Sammy Hager. The list is endless, also all musicians as you may notice, music is my life! People who are not so alive would be people like, John Bonham, Jimi Hendrix (who my father actually met once the git:-)), Stevie Ray Vaughan, Keith Moon, Frank Zappa etc etc!! Other than that, just cool people:-)))))

Music:

Deep breath and in no particular order, Black Label Society, Alter Bridge, Killswitch Engage, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Foo Fighters, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Incubus, Nickelback, Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Pantera, Pride & Glory, Temple of the Dog, Velvet Revolver, Jimi Hendrix, White Zombie, Soil, Skin, Little Feat, Steely Dan, Norah Jones, Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Lynard Skynard, ZZ Top, Sam and Dave, RATM, Van Halen. I cant be bothered to carry on typing, but you get the general idea:-)

Movies:

I'm pretty open minded when it comes to movies. I'll sit down and watch anything if I'm in the right mood. For example, if I just want to switch off and not have to think, I'll stick on a no brainer action movie like a Schwarzenegger classic, or if I'm in the mood for something a little zany I'll stick on a Jim Carrey movie. I really enjoy war films like Platoon or We Were Soldiers. My favourite war film though is Apocolypse Now, an amazing piece of direction and script and screen writing in my opinion. However my favourite film of all time is The Godfather! No words need to be said to describe just how amazing this film is, at least in my opinion:-) But like I said, I'm pretty much open to suggestion on movies, just depends on my mood:-)

Television:

Really enjoy programmes like 24, well thought out and keeps you coming back for more each week. Also enjoy documentaries about history or nature. I'm very much a flicker though. I hate Big Brother and all those types of shows, they just drive me right up the wall! I also like to watch the news, to keep up on current affairs:-)
