This is gonna be sooooo loooonnnng cha! where do I start...Well I started dancing on stage at the tender age of 8 in places such as The podium (now known as the Colosseum) and The Norward suit with two of my cousins and my little brother. At the age of 11 me and my cousin joined forces with another two friends calling ourselves KNEW IMAGE a sing and dance group, we did talent shows all over the UK including The 291 club which was viewed on both channel 4 and ITV in which we got to the finals without being booed and having candy man drag us off the stage. We also danced on the Generation game with Bruce Forsyth. I have also done an advert for Middlands bank where they flew me out to America to film it was a great experience at that age in my life staying at Sunset boulevard, Hollywood. At school I wanted to play an instrument so I picked up the guitar and took lessons but it just so happened that the guitar teacher wanted to learn to dance..well me being a break dancer battling every weekend all over the UK thought I could help but he wanted to learn jazz!! so in came PJ (Paul Dacas)Pro jazz dancer who taught me a whole lot of modern jazz dance incorporating some ballet, tap, contemporary and street dancing moves from about 1986-90 while I was dancing my little brother formed a group with another 4 boys around his age calling them selves ULTIMATE KAOS during which time I started teaching becoming the choreographer for Ultimate Kaos as well as teaching the kids at York Gardens Adventure playground, Battersea Park Adventure playground, Doddington Activity centre ect... Not only did I teach dancing but DJing too which earned me a job working with kids from the age of 0-16 for Wandsworth Borough Council as a Playcare worker at which time I was sharing a 3 bedroom house with my cousin and best friend Mac. While I was at work they would be making house & garage tapes and sending them off to radio stations until they got a reply. When Mac got the reply they had to go to this radio station in Brixton. On the day I had the day off work and Mac was going mad because My cuz had been arrested and they wasn't letting him go so I jumped in to help. Me being a sound man at the time (second selector (DJ)for Lazer Force) went to this station (Supreme FM) with Mac, after a couple off shows I asked Mega to come, He probably saw this as something else to concur being a jungle MC at the time, soon he had it all under control over flowing with new catchy lyrics. I then asked Romeo who at the time was a MC for One Nation in the House & Garage room. As we continued blowing up the air waves..."THIS STYLE IS WICKED YOU NO" DJ PDS!, MAC!, MEGA MAN! & MC ROMEO!!THE SO SOLID CREW was Born... since then I've been playing Funky house in places such as club Supreme, Traffik, Jam Bar, Ministry of sound, Meet bar, Medusa, Babaloo, The Fridge Bar, Tongue'n'Groove, Dogstar, Taboo, The Theater and many, many more with my partner in crime DJ Statix.As well as my event Pure Dance Sexy were you hear a mixture of House and Soft R'n'B Grooves for the mature raver.Catch me playing live this and every week @True Blue,Roses,Double Bubble,and the latest legal after party every Friday,Saturday and Sunday morning @ Secret locations (10am finishes) ..well peeps I think I've said enough about myself if you want more info check my other site or any of my partners or brother company site's; 'So Solid Crew' & Unique UK DJs also Check out True Blue Entertainment 4 more info call Mikey aka Blue.
