I'd like to meet:

Me from the future, traveling back in time to talk to me in my 20's. Perhaps he could tell me some good books to read and movies to see or albums to aquire. I bet he is a lot smarter than me.

Music:

I am currently spending a lot of time with Lenord Cohen, Frank Zappa, Melanie, The Frames, Jenny Lewis, and The Czars.

Movies:

The Royal Tenanbaums. Braveheart. The Wizard of Oz. Willy Wonka and the Chocolat Factory. Garden State. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Find and support Mister Lonely as soon as it comes within a hundred miles of you!

Television:

Conan, South Park, Scrubs, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Married with Children, Herman's Head, Futurama, Entourage, Arrested Developement, Seinfeld, Pirates of the Dark Waters, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Weeds, Lost, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and The Office

Books:

My favorites are classics you were forced to read. I have also been reading a lot of David Sedaris lately. I have been pretty into Zadig by Voltaire. It somehow slipped through the literary cracks of my Voltaire repertoire, but it might stand as one of my favorites. Here is a ridiculous animated version of myself.

Heroes:

Miquel Gondry, Ridley Scott, Wes Anderson, Tim Burton, Speilburg, P.T. Anderson, James Brooks, Tarintino, Francois Truffaut and Mike Nichols
