Believe those who seek truth. Doubt those who find it.

About Me

My background is in media and the arts but I am presently attending university, working towards a degree in software engineering. Eventually, I intend to merge the two disciplines into a form that is not completely clear to me yet.

Generally, I enjoy the company of people who are warm, honest, and real. At the moment, I'm particularly interested in my good friend Margaret who embodies all of these qualities, and who greatly enhances my sense of well-being...she's also pretty cute :)

During my mid-twenties I was diagnosed with cancer and many of the aquaintances I made at that time, unlike myself, are no longer alive. From that experience I developed a strong sense of modesty, a deeper appreciation for life, and a recognition of the superficiality and materialism that seems to rule the world. I now make a conscious effort to enjoy the simple things in life and resist the pressure to subscribe to any shallow or unsubstantiated ideals.
