About Me

In the late 70ies RoLo was born into this universe. Shortly after his birth he already made his second experience: he met the sound. This experience, which was produced at his birth only by his own voice, has been accompanying him for his whole life.
A very important period of time has been the 80ies. It all started with basketball, where Rob regularly took part at the German Masters with the “BG Ludwigsburg” and played for the team of Baden-Wurttemberg. At the same time he unconsciously got to know the sound of Hip-Hop and loved it right from the beginning. The movies “Beat Street” and “Wild Style”, which he happened to see, infected him with Hip-Hop as well.
In the 90ies he became acquainted with various dance styles, synthesizers and even House-Music. In the mid 90ies he was working part time as a bar keeper but soon recognized that basketball and the night life couldn’t go together well in the long run. That’s why he ended his basketball career - with the big advantage to have much more time for private issues.
In the year 2000 he discovered his big love: mixing. DJs noticed that he was very talented and that the beat runs in his blood. So they took him to their acts and then it all went very fast: from acts in the pre-program he soon got the possibility to show his talent / his skills in the main-program. He was very lucky to gain experience in the big clubs of Stuttgart, like the Caribe or Perkins Park. From then on he did not only present his talent, but let the people feel it. No matter how good the air conditioning was working – the people were partying so hard that every one went home drenched in sweat but and happy.
In November 2004 “Radio OG” (96.6 MHz in Croatia) offered him his own show, the “DJ Night @ Radio OG”. Every week the Urban-Club-Music from RoLo is now on air and his style is not only appreciated by the listeners but also by other radio stations.
RoLo’s flexibility additionally gives him the possibility to arrange his act very variably. For example it includes as well Funk & Electro Beats. This combination is mainly required at important VIP acts and could be enjoyed for example at DaimlerChrysler or the ATP tennis tournament.
Besides his artistic skills, RoLo himself is responsible for the design and the programming of his website "www.DeeJayRoLo.com" for presenting himself worldwide on the Internet.
