Born in Philadelphia, yet raised in New York, V.Smoove's career as a DJ began to take off as he made is debut in 1994 on the airwaves of 91.5 WVHC. Currently residing in Manhattan, NY V.Smoove has become one of NYC's hottest Hip Hop, R&B, and Dancehall Reggae DJ's. Over the past nine years V.Smoove has taking charge of New York club scenes djing at clubs such as Club New York, Metronome, Casino, Caios, Babalu, Mars 2112, Moonlighting, and Centrofly to name a few. He has also ventured to Orlando Florida djing at clubs such as, Firestone, Volcano and Club Ménage in South Beach. In the summer of 2003 V.Smoove, alongside fellow DJ and Producer Serg Sniper, hit the shores of Japan for a three city tour that included cities and clubs such as Core in Tokyo, Vibe in Fukuoka, and Radix in Nagoya.
V.Smoove has taken his sound to the streets creating a series of Dancehall Reggae CDs from "Make Mi See Ya Fire", "Bigga Bashment", "Riddim Up Again", and "Dancehall's Best Ever", to his latest "Riddim Up Again Part 4" Earning him an incredible amount of respect across the tri-state area, leading to worldwide recognition as a Premiere Dancehall Disc Jockey (nominated for “best reggae mixtape dj†in Justos 8th Annual Mixtape Awards and winner of the Best Mixtape Duo SEA Award 2006 along with Serg Sniper).
In 2001 V.Smoove partnered up with fellow DJ Serg Sniper to create numerous party breaks for AV8 Records such as: "Livin Big", "Weed Did It", "Freak Wit It", "Make My Music High", "China Jules", "Just React", "Go Shorty", "More Fire I, II, and III". In addition creating blend records such as "Blazin' Blends" and "Salute Blends I and II". In recent venture V.Smoove and Serg Sniper were hired by the AVEX Corporation to mix and produce the party copulation, "Dancehall Killers", a Cd for major sale and distribution in Tokyo, Japan.
V.Smoove and Serg Sniper's hard work, and talent dramatically paid off leading to their site: www.Clubbangaz.com. This well known website has been developed to showcase new releases, mix cds, different venues, dates, and club locations that feature V.Smoove and Serg Sniper. With the outstanding work and input of V.Smoove, Serg Sniper, and most importantly their listeners, the site's popularity tremendously increases daily.
V.Smoove has most recently team up with the dancehall sensation Mr. Vegas and has become the official tour DJ in 2004. V.Smoove's determination to excel in everything he does makes force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
