Get a scroller sign at http://www.crazyprofile.com.com!Name: Yonge C The Project Idol AKA Johnny Macher AKA Chew Bacca AKA BAX~~~Birthplace: T.O. , Canada ~~~Hail Up: G.G.C, Vaughan, Ont. & Da Megacity!!! ~~~Background: Jamaican~~~Sign: Scorpio ~~~ Yonge C has been spittin for over 8 years, writing for 6 years and has been recording for about 4 years now. ~~~-born in downtown Toronto ~~~-grew up in west end Toronto moved to south end of Vaughan City in middle school (1997) ~~~-grew up on Death Row, Kris Kross, Wu-Tang, Coolio, and Cash Money ~~~-grew up in musical family ~~~-played percussion at a younger age(african drums, trap set, congas, etc.) ~~~-started making hip hop beats in the 7th grade ~~~-started freestyling over the beats ~~~-started freestyle battling in high school for fun ~~~-left high school due to complications in Fall 2001 ~~~-started writing proper songs in early 2002 ~~~-went back to high school fall 2002 and started rap group with some local guys (Lynch Crew) ~~~-started doing more serious freestyle battling in high schools for rep ~~~- Lynch Crew started to record for an upcoming group mixtape effort but the process was slow due to lack incouragement ~~~-Young C cut first track aired on underground radio with Citizen Kane and Peep Sho produced by Dungeonetics in late 2002 ~~~-dropped out of school for good in Spring 2003 ~~~-won the Project Idol Competition, a 10 week freestyle battle on Project Bounce 89.5 fm , in Fall 2003 ~~~-started constant work with Nexus Movements, a production team from Scarborogh, T.O, in Winter 2003-04 ~~~-recorded an albums worth of original tracks that never got released ~~~-Lynch Crew never released any material to the public, they only recorded about 4 songs alltogether before Young C decided to postpone the Lynch Crew mixtape and release his solo mixtape first ~~~-Young C recorded the "Shit Silencer Vol.1 Mixxxtape" that Spring of 2004 ~~~-after a little miscommunications with Nexus, Young C INDEPENDANTLY released the mixtape cd with no sponcers and little support ~~~-over 450 copies hand-to-hand were moved of the mixtape for Summer 2004 (only in a small part of T.O.) ~~~-with the little buzz that Shit Silencer Vol.1 made, with common spins on underground radio, quickly re-lit the light on the now forgotten Project Idol ~~~-started working with Vigilante, a local producer, in Summer 2004 ~~~- in late Summer 2004 complications and differences within the Lynch Crew camp caused members to part ways and persue solo projects ~~~-further complications with management and Nexus Movements lead to a part with them and the management in early 2005 ~~~-Young C continued to work with Vigilante throughout the winter season ~~~-Young C dropped his second solo project "No Net - The Freestyle Album" produced by Vigilante in early Spring 2005 ~~~-with very little effort put into promotion and distribution "No Net" was a sales failure with less than 150 copies moved, but a musical masterpiece with over 15 original VERSITILE tracks ~~~-under new management, in Spring 2005 Young C started working with Matik Enterprises as a smart promotional and network move ~~~-for copyright purposes and a more unique look Young C changed his title spelling from Young C to Yonge C, as in Yonge Street, T.O. ~~~-shot a number of underground and internet videos, interveiws and guess appearances throughout the early Summer of 2005 ~~~-recorded 2 unreleased singles with Ill Fire Productions in Mid-Summer 2005 called "We Got It ft/ St. Peter" and "Keep Rockin" ~~~-recorded the third solo project "Shit Silencer Vol.2 The Official Mixxxtape" in Summer 2005 ~~~-with better planning and promotion, the new mixtape was planed drop August 2005 and move over 2000 copies ~~~-the mixtape was dropped mid-Augusr 2005 and was succesfull ~~~-at the same time "We Got It" was starting to get regular play on the main Toronto radio station for hip hop and r&b. FLOW 93.5 fm~~~-Yonge C is currently working on the fourth solo "Before I D.I.E.(Decrease.In.Exellence)" an album with all original material with production by Vigilante, Face Man, Swagger Productions, Paper Works,Stikup Kid, Dj General, and more ~~~-the next album was planned to be dropped early 2006 ~~~-the album was not dropped because of technical difficulties~~~-Yonge C was arrested a number of times in 2006, including an incident at his own show in April 2006~~~-Yonge C appeard on a number of features for other Toronto artist in 2006. Music and Video~~~-he never was able to drop any product of his own in 2006, although a promo mixtape promogting the "First Class" cd was dropped late 07 alongside DJ Goldenchild.to make up for a 2 year absence Yonge is recording alot, and is planned to drop 3 solo products, a number of colaboration projects, executive produce a couple of new artist for 2008, and drop a DVD early 2009.~~~ The 1st project is set to drop early '08, the "First Class" mixtape. This cd was supposed to drop April '07. but was delayed due to a billion complications from all sides.~~~Shit Silencer 3, and the Prelude 2 is set to drop Summer '08.
