My Interests

Gigs, music, travel, staging world class gigs, Blackstar Promotions, books, material goods, Kellog's cereal, death disco. All the really important, shallow things in life. Festival fiend - topping 2007's 5 this year? Maybe!! TITP, Leeds, Summercase in 08 so far!

I'd like to meet:

Ari Fleischer, Noam Chomsky, HST, Fidel Castro, Noel Gallagher, Ryan Jarman, Gael Garcia Bernal, The Panther.

Music:

Music is my hot hot sex - Interpol, Muse, The Rapture, Eagles of Death Metal, The Rakes, Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Oasis, The Strokes, Dirty Pretty Things, The Cribs, CSS, The Gallows, Descartes, The Horrors, Johnny Cash, The Stone Roses, The Libertines, Rush Hour Soul, The Walkmen, Mercury Rev, Elliot Smith, The Clash, TSOOL, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Scott Walker, Joy Division, Foo Fighters, Soulwax, The Velvet Underground, The Getdowns, Mark Ronson, RATM, Bob Dylan, Dr Hook (inexplicable), The Chemical Brothers, Idlewild, The View, Jeff Buckley, Klaxons, Primal Scream, Franz Ferdinand, Radio Soulwax, Daft Punk, 2 Many DJs, Holy Fuck, Mondo Generator, The Pixies, Bowie, LCD Soundsystem, The Long Blondes, Kings of Leon, Kaiser Chiefs, The Ting Tings, And You Will Know Us By The Trail of the Dead, Kasabian, Smashing Pumpkins, Simian Mobile Disco, Sons and Daughters, Blood Red Shoes, Yeah Yeah Yeah's, The Bluetones, Billy Talent, Deftones, Guillemots, Talking Heads, Willy Mason, We Are Scientists, Radiohead, Lo-fi Allstars, Spiritualized, The Charlatans, Beastie Boys, The White Stripes, Dickie Ashcroft, The Verve, Blur, The Hives - the list could go on and on to be honest!

Television:

Don't really watch too much tv - I'm a busy person much in demand! Although 24 is the best tv show in history - except the last series - it was cack! I do like Scrubs too. I used to watch MASH all the time - Alan Alda is a comic genius!

Books:

Currently reading Russell Brand's bio My Booky Wook - funny as fuck! Obsessed with Hunter S Thompson - his books are amazing. Last read 'Better Than Sex - Confessions of a Political Junkie', highly recommend! Although you have to read The Rum Diaries, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72, Hell's Angels and The Great White Shark Hunt. Mr Nice: Howard Marks, The Motorcycle Diaries: Ernesto Guevara, Sneakers: A Collector's Guide, Wall and Piece: Banksy, Living History: Hilary Clinton, Survivor: Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club: Chuck Palahniuk, Le Petit Prince: Saint-Exupery, On The Road: Jack Kerouac, anything by Noam Chomsky - genius man.

Nah why restrict yourself to a select few heroes - admire snippets of lots of different people instead!
