About Me

Voltage Records is an independent recording company, established in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK in 1988.
The idea behind the label is to give a helping hand to unsigned bands in the UK and hopefully act as a stepping-stone to greater things. Over the years we have released products from a selection of British acts, including AFS, The Downfall, 10,000 Things, Worm, The Sneakypeeks, This EtAl, White Light Parade, Harlequyn and Architect, among others.
Recently Voltage has ventured further afield with contributions from several European and US bands, featuring well known artists such as Chuck Treece (Bad Brains), Stevo (Fun Lovin' Criminals), Arthur Baker, The Faction and Rosenfeld.
Most recordings are still available on mail order. Please refer to the catalogue for complete listings on VoltageRecords.com
Current Voltage releases are distributed in the UK and via export by Pro-Sonic/ PHD .
All Voltage releases have been highly acclaimed in the music press. For reviews click here .
Please check out the Top Friends list for FREE music downloads and previews of Voltage releases.
And you can buy any current albums simply by clicking the links in the MUSIC panel on the left.
