Mirror of Shadows

The Mirror Of Shadows, is a side project of SophiaX (Dakrya) based on Experimental music with influences from Gothic, Ambient & Neoclassical scene!

The Mirror of Shadows was born through an improvisation during a November's night of 2005!

Through the Mirror of Shadows I try to translate my nightmares and my beliefs into music. I wish to give to the listeners an image of a certain landscape rather a good or bad song. Every song is a piece of the puzzle that reflects the "Shadow" (the dark side of the human soul)...

I believe that anything that is capable to inspire me is a good thing! Even through emptiness and isolation, I can bring down all the pain and clear the bitterness of a lie with a single note... This is my way of resurrecting my Soul!

I work with sound effects, synths and dark piano sounds. I use voices taken from films and choir samples. I do the mix and production of the songs at my home studio.
