EVILOUTION - SLOUGH

Sorry this update is a late one.....
Firstly thanks to When All Else Fails, Indrid Cold, Wraith and The Kick Kick Murder Squad for playing on the 29th August. All played blinding sets despite the problems with sound!!
Now a big thank you to all who came to Submission in Windsor. You made it a very fucking special night and we don't think anyone will forget that one in a hurry!! If you fancy another next month then let us know, plans are in mix already!!
Now some sad news......
Despite a week on week improvement in numbers, more drinking and being the 4th busiest night at Eco Bar, we have been asked to step aside for the football game next week. That means we will have NO live acts again. We are very sorry but this is out of our hands.
As a follow on from this, the management at Eco Bar feel that a rock night does not fit in with their image and that we don't make enough money for them to keep it going even though we are their 4th busiest night and we are improving every week. As you know already, we were asked to reduce the live acts to fortnightly as opposed to weekly. The night is cheap to run and neither of us have ever received a penny for producing flyers, marketing, organising and running the night.
We have only been on this event for a short while and we've made big improvements and the bar has taken more money on live act nights since.
Despite this and our persistant protests, it looks as though the Halloween special will be the last rock night to happen at Eco Bar.
Our next show will be the 3rd October, which I promise you now will be a blinder with New Project, Carnivale, Matron, Nothing Gained and Blackout! Check their myspaces to get a taster of what's in store!!
And just as a little extra, we will have some very special guests attending............
In the mean time, do not waste your time going to Eco Bar on Wednesday as there will be no rock of any description aside from these two dates.
