The Dice are a five piece from South London, formed at the start of 2005. They have recorded and released two EP's called 'Six Chambers' and 'Russian Roulette' at Antenna Studios in Crystal Palace. They have played a string of gigs at venues such as The Brixton Telegraph, Third Base, Mass, Caernarvon Castle, The Rock Garden and a charity gig for Unicef (www.unicef.org) at Roedean School in Brighton with bands such as the Darling Reds, which was televised for Brighton TV and covered by local magazines.
The Dice have also been on radio station playlists such as Rare FM and Insanity FM, on the playlists of a number of south london DJs and have been featured on the main page of myspace.com:
"Hey! A modern ska derivative! The Dice deliver infectious syncopated beats with enough ska in it to get your tail wagging in double quick time, but also infuse it with some rockabilly sensibilities and typical British vocal delivery- punchy quirky and lyrically relevant. This is a great track that will grab and maintain your attention. The best part about this is that, while you can hear all that old ska stuff in here, its not all about that, this is without doubt a thoroughly new take on an old genre. Excellent."
- Dave Chislett
"The Dice cite everyone from John Frusciante to Pete Doherty as they deliver catchy punk melodies with definite ska roots"
- mySpace
"The Dice... played to a more than excited bunch of young girls"
