Stu is a trumpet player from Vancouver Island that is currently based in Berlin.Stu has played with Broken Social Scene, Brothers Keepers, Dede, Ebo Taylor, Gentlemen, Immo, Marva Whitney, Miss Platnum, Nico Addo-Nettey, Nneka, Oghene Kologbo, Patrice, Pierpoljack(Feueralarm), Poets of Rhythm, Ralph Gustke All Stars, Rhythm Taxi, Sonido Tres, and Uli Gumpert to name a few.He currently performs with Afrobeat Academy, Bantu, Poets of Rhythm and Xavier Naidoo.Stu can be heard on recordings from Afrobeat Academy, Bantu, Karl Hector and the Malcouns, DJ Shadow(Heliocentrics), Ecko Alibi, Immo, Polyversal Souls(Poets of Rhythm), Soehne Mannheims, Sonido Tres, and Xavier Naidoo.
