i like nature, dancing, getting drunk, being in a band, making collages (the cut 'n' stick variety...no computers), seeing my friends, making clothes, going to parties, animals, cooking, seeing my family, sewing, attention, playing, drawing, birdwatching, swimming in the sea, art, riding my bike, music, staying up late, growing plants, critical mass, going to gigs, being naughty, being polite, knitting, reading, dj-ing, honesty, not taking yourself too seriously, writing graffiti in toilets and lots of other things too

My Interests

Books:

mills and boon and clever books too
ok the story so far...mills and boon were formed in 1909 by gerard mills and charles boon. it was a general publishing house, publishing school books and serious stuff as well as novels. gerard mills was killed in WW1 i think and left no family, so the boons took over, big style...the boons liked trashy romance and not school books, so they focused more on them (although M&B were still publishing non fiction until the 70's). well basically the boons were very good at self publicity and deals and stuff and every house wife and librarian loved them, so they got bigger and bigger and bigger! YEAH! they were nice to the authors and the housewives. it was still owned by the boon family until the 70's when it was merged (ie overtaken) with harlequin books. it then only published romance and still does now. that's all i can remember off the top of my head, sorry. if you have any specific M&B questions, send me a message and i'll let you know...

Heroes:

ann shenton, jarvis cocker, bryan ferry (before all the foxhunting shit), inspector morse???
