Bill Parton Trio are recognised as one of the most happening live bands on the scene today. The ensemble features William Parton (Piano & Vocals), Benjamin Harrison (Bass) and Andrew Partington (Drums/Percussion), together forming the Bill Parton Trio.
The three began from very strong jazz musical foundations though have progressively diversified as they have developed. Today the Trio performs both originals and covers from a wide range of genres including Funk, Jazz, Soul, Mainstream Pop, Blues and Lounge. They take after the influences of Harry Connick JR, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Lior, Jeff Buckley, The Beatles and even Radiohead.
Bill, Ben and Andy first came across each other in 2001 at Brighton Secondary School where they all were awarded with Special interest music scholarships. The three would find time to jam together and things very much just snowballed from there.
Today the guys are playing a prominent part on Australia’s live scene with over 500 performances under their belt since forming. They are in constant demand performing at both public venues and for private shows.
The boys have yet to have recorded a CD but rumor has it that their debut album is not far away from being released. Keep your ears tuned.
These guys have a very unique sound and product blowing away the most judgmental of audiences which along with their charisma, ambition and good looks is going to take them places. Be sure to catch them when you next get the chance!!
