The Privateers

Alchohol, Tobacco, and Firearms!!!

About Me

Myspace Contact TablesFormed in 1993, the Privateers sprung largely from the Long Beach punk band, the Bolsheviks. Taking loud, electric music as far as they could, the band decided to buy a bunch of mostly accoustic instruments they didn't know how to play and reinvented themselves as an Irish-flavored punk-folk/pub-rock band. *The band plays a mix of Irish drinking & rebel songs, folk, Americana, the odd classic rock song and even some old punk favorites. The results? A fun, free-wheeling time that inspires pub-goers to sing along & even set down their pints to dance! *The Privateers are available to play your party or function. For details, please contact Dicey Reilly through this MySpace site or at [email protected]. *The Privateers have two self-released CDs they sell at their shows, "Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms," and "A Christmas Album." The band is planning more recording in 2008 and playing more great gigs.Add Our Banner to Your Myspace Page!!
