I've got my favorite TV shows too, but I mostly use my tube to watch my favorite movies on when the FilmCenter is closed.
The greatest love story ever told, in my humble opinion, is that of horror film monsters and the girls that end up taking them down. This is a subject not often discussed at coffee shops and the like but one woman, the lovely Carol Clover, wrote a whole book of essays, called MEN WOMEN AND CHAINSAWS, on the horror film and that beauty and the beast relationship is just one of the many chapters. Take it with a grain of salt, Clover gets a bit academic (and a little over the top) but it's so much fun to see these movies split open and examined like the insides of a meaty corpse. Mmmmm. Meaty...
