Film-Maker and new composer. Born in Scotland. More to follow. Don't you just hate talking about yourself? My work does it for me, hopefully. You tell me.Two albums just available. Techno/Ambient/New Age. First is "Rendlesham Forest", inspired by a series of incidents involving a "UFO Landing" and the USAF in England. The second is "This Island Earth", a Techno/Ambient/Ethnic/New Age album just recently completed.Presently working on a Techno album called "Alien Soldier". Film career started as member of visual effects/miniatures team working alongside Ridley Scott on the original "Alien". Film won Oscar for Best Visual Effects. Other films in "mainstream" included "The Empire Strikes Back", "Dark Crystal" with the late Jim Henson, and many others.Wrote-Produced-Directed, etc, etc, first feature film, the "New Age/Ambient" X-Files/Ken Russell/David Lynch influenced "Alien Blood" (1999). Many other shorts.One television drama as Writer-Director-Visual Effects Director, etc, etc, "A Return To Love" (1996). Currently engaged on screenwriting projects and making his next feature film. Called "Seeker", it is an ambient/New Age experience featuring music composed by Jon Sorensen, which continues to be shot worldwide, organically. The film is slated to be completed end 2007 subject to one last highly unusual location being accessible.That's quite enough about me. What a bore. I want to know all about you "Seekers" out there. My "philosophy" is this, "Leave the World with the same open mind you had when you first came into it". I'm a Celt. I believe in ghosts. I believe in Supernature. I believe in beauty. I believe in music. I love animals. I believe in the human spirit. (The latter belief unfashionable these days, given that the media is doing all it can to destroy our faith in it).I believe anyone can do extraordinary things if they focus up. I've just read this and made myself yawn.

For their sheer virtuosity and instinct for marrying images to wonderful sound, the films of, amongst others, Terrence Mallick, Michael Mann, Werner Hetzog, Ken Russell, and the late, great, under-rated Donald Cammell, whose last film was "Wild Side" with Christopher Walken giving the performance of his life.
