JUICE

This year has been an ultimate struggle, but 2005 is coming to an end and I can easily look back at it and say to myself "how oblivious could you ever have been?" I say that now, because this year has been most confusing. Many may say that its due to the simple fact that we find ourselves struggling over change because of this college life. Sure....that may be true. Who we are, what we do, definition of true self...it all lies within your roots and those who have expended much energy in being a part of our lives. It's sad that many of us do such soul searchin, when in fact, the search doesn't go much further than we expect. As for my experience, I thought I needed to find much of who I needed to be and fill shoes larger than life. What I'm trying to say is that I found myself again, and its dumb that I hadn't come to the realization that who I was lied within my roots...1. God. 2. Family 3. Sheena. 4. Friends. So to make it short with as little babble as possible; I am awake, my eyes are open, I am at peace, the trials and tribulations that I go through on this narrow walk towards Him is beautiful despite its ugliness, I am simple, optomistic and a rebel with cause. And for once in my life in a long time, I can proclaim my Christianity and love for God. On a lighter note, as said early I'm pretty simple...I'm a student intern working for the Federal Gov, with my school fully funded by them. Thanks Uncle Sam! I'm currently assigned to the Contracts Sector of SWRMC (Southwest Regional Maintenance Center) on the wet side of 32nd Naval Base. If I'm not there, you'll probably find me at my Inaanak's house teaching him new tricks, or I'll be at home laying in my bed watching the next new TV Hit Series on DVD. On Monday's nights Chris' pad is where you'll find me gettin excited over football and the clarity of his huge HDTV. On Sunday nights, you'll find me at FLOOD Church on College Ave near state rockin on to SLS and diggin into what Pastor Matt's gotta say. If I'm not at any of those venues, you shouldn't have problems finding me at school, what I love most about it?...its got to be the walks through campus listening to tunes on my iPod. Hey, it's a great way to keep hagglers from getting you to vote, or other folks trying to get you to do something in that short amount of time that you already have to make it to class. There is definitely a lot more to say, and I can definitely go on forever- as many of you may know. But just "psst" me and we'll talk more later.
