I am from South San Diego. No not Chula Vista, more like San Ysidro-ish. People tell me that I live in the ghetto and they are scared to go there. People are scared of the unknown and they do not know that southside is a very safe area. I wouldn't leave my garage door open in the middle of the night, but I wouldn't mind walking around the neighborhood at the wee hours either.
