First and foremost,I want to acknowledge and thank the late Jim Thompson for teaching me my first Chuck Berry and blues licks. I also want to thank the late Kevin McMichaels..guitarist for Robert Plant, Cutting Crew and Spice for being so always kind and generous with his wisdom, friendship and the man who always had such golden beautiful magic tone and his love of sharing his secrets and experience. They are missed, but never forgotten. I want to extend my love and thanks to the Van Zant family for their friendship and a lifetime of great music. I also want to thank and plug BLUE C MUSIC for all Carson's help and great gear! I also want to thank Scott MacFarlane for keeping my guitars and amps and pedals and cables in top working order!! I am a New Glasgow N.S based musician who is looking for work with a band or artist either full or part time or just one night gigs even.I am known as a good dependable sideman who is always sober and drug free showtime and quick to learn the material the right way quickly and on the spot live.I love to play clear melodic and tasteful guitar parts as well as sloppy ol' crunchy rock and roll and I love all styles of music to play. I have great timing, dynamics,tone and feel and I am a firm believer in what you DON'T play. I have been playing basically non-stop since I was 6 years old. I play a Les Paul with a Bigsby and a 57 Les Paul running into a custom hand-made Lacewood cabinet powered by a Tone Tubby Hempcone Alnico 12" speaker with an old Bandit head,a couple small VOX amps and a Orange Mini amp. Effects include: Robert Keeley Compressor, Jacques Prisoner modulation delay ,script logo MXR Phase 90 ,Peterson StroboStomp Tuner, Tremolo, ISP Noise Decimator and a handful of cheap..but cool DanElectro pedals. I have extensive travel experience throughout Canada, US and Europe. I am a musician who plays guitar,bass,drums and Hammond B3 and has lots of recording and stage experience. I also do a lot of live sound engineering but,I'm not a trained "soundman" I only know how I'd like to be treated when I mix..I am also a fully licensed bus driver. I have some 4 trak original tunes I recorded and played all the parts on posted here and I have around 280 or so other finished 4 track demos to be converted to MP3 and another 100 or so in various stages of completeness in all musical styles. I hope to get some new ones converted soon and posted.
