Jean Lassallette

ENGLISH:Jean Lassallette was born in Bordeaux, France, on December 25th 1973. He entered Bordeaux Academy of guitar at the age of six. After a few years, he obtained his diploma and yet decided to stop playing. It was only at the age of sixteen that he rediscovered the guitar and from then on has been an autodidact.In 1996, he began to attend the CIAM - a music institution - that awarded him a grant in recognition for his promising results and where he also discovered jazz and harmony.In his second year as a student, he began to teach there. At the same time, Jean was recording with renowned French professionals such as Thierry Eliez from Dee Dee Bridgewater.After trying different music styles from classical to metal, he joined the funk band PLP and met keyboarder St..phane D..riau-Reine, with whom he has become close friend and is still to be seen at numerous concerts.Today, Jean Lassallette establishes himself as an accomplished artist whether he be recording, playing live or teaching. He excels in various musical styles, both in arranging and managing his own compositions and is now launching his international career playing with major artists,(Mel Gaynor)"Simple Mid's" (Dominique Di Piazza)"John Mc Laughin" (Mike terrana) his main concerns being quality and perfection.Jean plays to in “Atypical people” A new name for a new start. Four musicians, Isa, Jean, Marcel and Pol. Before they were called “P-pol”, but their manager who did more harm to the band than good forced them to change their name. Growing in strength from their experiences and not looking back are even more determined to push forward. After their first auto produced album “A part of Us” they will be back soon with a brand new album Rock - Pop with more emphasis on Rock than before. Giving a veiled reference to the new beginning “Like a Phoenix” the title of their new album.Jean is now preparing the output of its first Album solo "TALDEA" with (Leon schelstraete)on drum (, Stephane Mazurier) on keyboards and the participation of (Dominique Di Piazza) on bass and (Jean Marie Ecay) on guitar ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------FRANCAIS:Ne a Bordeaux, le 25 decembre 1973, il commence son parcours a l'âge de six ans .. l'academie de guitare de Bordeaux. Apres quelques annees d'essais, il obtient un diplome (mention Bien) mais malgres tout decide d'arreter l'instrument .C'est a l'âge de 16 ans qu'il redécouvre la guitare mais cette fois-ci en tant qu'autodidacte.En 1996, il integre le "CIAM" (ecole de musique vivante) ou il obtiendra une bourse grâce a des resultat prometteurs . Il y decouvrira le jazz et l'harmonie. En deuxeme annee, il enseignera dans cette meme ecole et parallelement enregistre avec diverses pointures francaises (Thierry Eliez -Dee Dee Bridgewater"). Apres s'etre essaye a plusieurs styles allant du classique au Metal, il inegre le groupe de funk PLP ou il fait la connaissance de son acolyte de toujours, Stephane Deriau-Reine, avec lequel il partage bon nombre de scenes.Aujourd'hui, JEAN LASSALLETTE s'affirme autant sur scene qu'en studio, ou encore dans l'enseignement, dans de nombreux styles, tant en arrangement qu'en direction musicale, developpant une carriere internationale en accompagnant des artistes de haut rang,(Mel Gaynor)"Simple Mid's" (Dominique Di Piazza)"John Mc Laughin" (Mike terrana) toujours dans un souci permanent de qualite et de perfectionnement.Apres leur premier album "a part of us", son groupe ATYCAL PEOPLE, vient de sortir un nouvel album plus rock : "LIKE A PHOENIX". *Jean est entrain de préparer la sortie de son premier Album solo "TALDEA" avec (Leon schelstraete) a la batterie (,Stephane Mazurier) au claviers et la participation de (Dominique Di Piazza) a la basse et de( Jean Marie Ecay) a la guitare----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------- MySpace Slideshow Upload Images Random Backgrounds MySpace Editor Photo Collage
