About Me
If you travel south of Detroit, towards Eureka road, beyond the designer coffee shops, and trendy sushi bars, you'll find the land of stone washed jeans, road houses, feathered hair, hotrods, keg parties, and bad boys with dirty finger nails. As you wander closer into the woods, past a 455 hanging from a tree, lines of stripped cars, a junk yard dog, piles of beer cans, and a stop sign full of shot gun holes, you'll find The Superhero Hotrod blazing the hottest rock-n-roll since 1975. The band recorded these demos as a 2 piece in 2005, but recruited The Fabulous SuperMullet, Undertaker, Captain Camaro and Fontana Ferarri to round out the live line-up.
Damian Lang recorded the drums on the DEMO with Super Shag on vocals and guitar. Jim Diamond and Jeff Meier recorded and mixed the songs. The band will record a full length with Jim Diamond this summer!

When he is not drag racing one of his badass Camaros for pinks, drinking jack at Char-Di's, or training his dog to drive a dune buggy, he puts the hammer down on the skins for Superhero Hotrod._____________________________________________________
______________***SUPER MULLET***The original Mr. Fabulous himself, has been on the Detroit Rock scene for nearly 4 decades, and worked with several ground breaking bands. He carries a silver goody comb, and has a way with the ladies. When he is not at Hooters, making out with the coat check girl, he likes to strap on his glitter guitar, and ooze his magic all over the sexy superhero songs ____________________________________________________________
____________***SUPER SHAG***Struts his way through the Vocals and rhythm guitar. He loves 10 cent comic books, and glitter go-go boots. He drives a Hotrod hearse with a saw blade bumper. He can fight like a wildcat and still make the girls purr like kittens. He gets wasted on 2 beers and is obsessed with Julie Newmar. He has been through the windshield more than once, but always remembers to fill the tank with turbo blue on friday night.

_______________***** FONTANA FERRARI******Equal parts Ursula Andress and Danica Patrick, our sweet leadfoot Fontana Ferrari showed up at our door with a gas can one night. And like a scene out of Deliverance, we never let her leave. It seems the sweet young girl with golden locks was just passing through on her way to Hollywood to appear in a yet another horror film. She can walk in 7" heels and scream better than Fay Wray. When she is not taking in the hair-pin turns in her sexy little Italian ride, she is raking her nails across the strings for Superhero Hotrod. This is the only classy element you will ever see in this band, so take it all in boys, but don't get too close, she is an expert with scissors!

_______________****** THE UNDERTAKER*********The most elusive member of the band. His icy fingers can skillfully play the theme from the phantom of the opera one moment, and 96 tears the next. He travels only by rail car, and wears a wool suit all year round. He does not speak often, but when he does, it will send chills down your spine. He can dig a grave without breaking a sweat, then throw you in for good measure. Its rumored his touch is lethal, but it doesn't seem to bother the gaggle of goth girls that follow him around. He walks the rainy streets until dawn and disappears without a trace.
