I'm a lawyer, fashion designer, illustrator, web site designer, knitter...
I study design, patternmaking and tailoring and work through the whole design process from beginning to end, starting with concept visualization all the way to making my own prototypes. My starting points vary: They can be anywhere from a drawing or illustration I make, to a collage or textile sample I've thrown together or old clothes I've draped on the mannequin. It's all fun for me :-)

I am currently inspired by period costumes, "rebel" movies from the 50s, black and white photos, cabaret, rockstars, costume jewelry, denim jeans, grunge, flappers, geisha, postcards with interesting illustrations or old ads on them, industrial buildings, sci-fi flicks, places I've traveled, pinups, fine art, sports...I spent most of my life in both the States and in Mexico, so I'm also influenced by those cultures when I design.
Every time I come up with a collection I have to accessorize all the outfits. So I decided to start creating and sharing some of these at my online boutique. Take a look!
